Designed for professional use, this ultra-powerful cordless vacuum shredder weighs 5.1kg (without the battery), comes with a 55-litre collection bag, and includes a potentiometer for variable speed control.

Boasting exceptional levels of suction, the SHA 140 is unbeatably effective at vacuuming and shredding leaves, grass and hedge clippings. In fact, it boasts 15% more suction power than STIHL’s SH 86 petrol-powered model.

Air Flow Management System

As the collection bag is designed with a special ventilation opening, regardless of how full it is, only air can escape. This ensures the vacuum enjoys consistently high suction power, while you work.

The SHA 140’s Boost Mode

By applying extra pressure on the tool’s trigger, you can switch the machine into ‘boost’ mode. Here, the vacuum works to its maximum possible suction power, enabling it to pick up the most stubborn debris.

Intelligent Electronics for Constant Power

Just like other STIHL battery-powered tools, the SHA 140 Vacuum Shredder uses intelligent electronics to deliver constant power, so performance will not be affected as the battery discharges its power. This optimised performance continues until there is no power left in the battery.

Tool-Free Assembly

The SHA 140 can be assembled without using tools. Neither are they required when disassembling/ reassembling the collection bag and suction tube for cleaning.

Because of the suction pipe’s width and the recesses found on its sides, this vacuum shredder is very easy to clean and unclog.

The recesses have the additional benefit of minimising the risk of the suction tube sticking to the ground.

Using the SHA 140 with the STIHL Connected App

The STIHL SHA 140 Cordless Vacuum Shredder is compatible with Smart Connector 2A (sold separately), which can be mounted in the housing to link this tool to the STIHL Connected App.

This allows you to transmit valuable data to your smartphone, tablet or STIHL Connected Box, as well as benefit from additional functions.

Recommended Battery

As mentioned above, the STIHL SHA 140 Cordless Vacuum Shredder (Shell Only) does not include a battery or charger.

We recommend buying a STIHL AP 300 S battery for use with this machine. This battery runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge, which is reduced to (up to) 38 minutes when the tool is operated in boost mode.
